A needle valve gives a precise regulation of flow and is generally used for applications with relatively low flow rates. Most common applications are control of oil, water, steam or air. Needle valves are normally used in smaller dimensions and available in different materials depending on working pressure, brass ≤ 100 bar and stainless steel ≤ 400 bar. Pressure gauge valves are delivered with or without test flange. The test flange is used to test or calibrate pressure gauges, pressure switches or pressure transmitters connected to the valve.
