Our range of safety valves includes two different types; full lift safety valves and proportional safety valves. When ordering a safety valve please let us know your requirements regarding capacity, media, temperature, inlet dimension and type of system. Full lift safety valves A full lift safety valve is an automatic pressure releasing valve which opens instantly and totally to sudden overpressure. This allows maximum discharage immediately at a defined set pressure and the valve is fully open at set pressure 5%. Full lift safety valves are suitable for large discharge capacities. Use a full lift safety valve for steam in saturated steam boilers, superheaters and reheaters, in gas storage tanks or in compressed air treatment and storage installations. Full lift safety valves can also be used for liquids in thermal fluid boilers, for installations with large mass flows or for chemical reactions with exothermal processes. Proportional safety valves A proportional safety valve is an automatic pressure releasing valve which opens proportionally to the pressure increase. Constant balance between the opening pressure and the spring force gives a small flow and minimal fluid loss on discharge. The proportional safety valve is fully open at set pressure +10%.
