Fire valves are used to connect a hose or an outlet to the ship's fire fighting system to help fight a fire or for deck washing. They can be used for freshwater or seawater with a maximum temperature of 80°C. Our fire valves are available in straight or angled execution and in DN 40, 50 or 65 sizes, but other models and sizes are available upon request. All fire valves are delivered with bolted bonnet as well as with a soft disc sealing. A landing valve is used to obtain a constant pressure at the outlet. Landing valves as well as fire valves have a DIN flanged inlet and a BSP threaded outlet for connection of fire couplings. We keep NOR and Storz couplings in Bronze CC491K (RG5) in stock, but can offer any other coupling you might request. When specifying a coupling you need to let us know the diameter of the hose or thread and the size of the bayonet socket.
